Longhorn Barbecue has a rich history that began in Houston, Texas back in 1946. After 10 years of serving their delicious “Southern Pit Style” barbecue in the city, the Lehnertz brothers decided to take their authentic flavors to the Great Northwest. Since then, Longhorn Barbecue has been smoking their meats with Apple, Cherry, and Alder Woods to bring that true Pit Barbecue taste to Spokane diners.

In 1997, Longhorn Barbecue expanded to Auburn, WA, making Texas-style barbecue available on both sides of the Cascades. The brothers decided to pass on their legacy in 2002, creating two separate teams: Longhorn East and Longhorn West. Both teams share the same dedication to providing guests with the genuine taste of Texas barbecue.
